Being greeted by the Nepal Expedition team upon our arrival at the Kathmandu Airport, March 10, following an 18 hour flight to Bangkok and another 4 hour leg to Kathmandu.

- Tom and Bonnie O'Brien worked at the University of Florida (Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and Electron Microscopy, in the Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research) when they weren't traveling. Both are retired now, but Tom still teaches (more than before "retirement") and continues research on mitochondrial ribosomes.

I thought I would leave a comment since you have non yet. The auto transportation is a step down from the silk flight you had on your way to the destination.
