Incredible that a leopard could scale such a flimsy tree to stash his impala meal away from stalking hyenas.

- Tom and Bonnie O'Brien worked at the University of Florida (Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and Electron Microscopy, in the Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research) when they weren't traveling. Both are retired now, but Tom still teaches (more than before "retirement") and continues research on mitochondrial ribosomes.

I was actually one of your students last semester, and somehow I stumbled on your blog! I thought that I should let you know b/c I seem to be coming here often to look at all your awesome pictures of your travels. It's just a wonderment to see you here (at UF) and then on your blog, you've been all over the world!
