The Paro airport is the only port of entry by air. Checking in at the Zhiwaling Hotel on the outskirts of Paro. View from room 36 at the Zhiwaling Hotel.
I just saw the clip of the Nyala feast! I can't believe you got so close without them eating you! I've always wanted a tiger or lion cub, but those lionesses don't seem very friendly~
I "stumbled" by googling your name, "UF" and "biochemistry". I was looking for your course site and possibly for old tests floating around (to be honest)... But I found something better. =)
I must go learn more about those spotted hyenas that you mentioned!
Tom and Bonnie O'Brien worked at the University of Florida (Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and Electron Microscopy, in the Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research) when they weren't traveling. Both are retired now, but Tom still teaches (more than before "retirement") and continues research on mitochondrial ribosomes.
